About this blog. Mission, goals, themes, update
-

-
Objective of this blog:  To show people what they need to know to get the best out of virtual worlds and to suggest lines of creative thinking about how to exploit the potential of virtual worlds.
-
Time to update this post.  This will really be an update--the permanent content will stay on the previous url:

Both Mission and Contents are now listed at the top of each post

Collections
To make it easier to find things that fit the main themes of this blog, I have created collections.  These collections are cited along with the themes below.  I also use labels (key terms)  which may sometimes be useful in searching for posts that are similar to a post you have read.
How to search this blog and the Hobo Kit
-
I am looking for reports and news releases that fit these themes.  If you have a report or release that you want me to consider:
  • send a message via MySL to Thinkerer Melville.
  • send a notecard, but these have become unreliable in the past year.
  • send me a message is Google+ or Facebook
  • include your contact information, relevant SLurls and web links.
You can also make a comment on this blog.  In that case, your post should carry the news you want to release.  I may not pick up the information, at least not immediately.  But if I see something that calls for follow-up, I will get back to it when I have a place on the schedule.
-
Please note that I am primarily interested in actionable content--content that some readers could use in things they are doing.
